AP’s Probe Into NYPD Intelligence Operations

This is the collection of all the Associated Press’ stories about NYPD’s surveillance of Muslims all along the Eastern Seaboard. They find that the police have worked with the CIA to monitor what is being talked about in mosques, where Muslims live, which Muslims have changed their names, what Muslim students groups do + discuss, who goes to what restaurants, and beyond.

Mayor Bloomberg + the NYPD say that this surveillance is not based on religion. All of the AP’s evidence is to the contrary. It doesn’t matter the national origin of the person, Christian Egyptians aren’t surveilled, Jewish Syrians aren’t surveilled, it is only Muslims that are surveilled.
